Taking place at the Theater Casino Zug, this landmark Swiss event brings together professionals from the live entertainment and theater sectors for a day of networking and knowledge sharing.

As a featured part of the program, WSDG Senior Partner & Co-CEO Dirk Noy will present a session (in German) that will draw on WSDG’s extensive global portfolio in arts and entertainment. During this presentation Noy will offer expert insights into the acoustic principles and specialized design strategies required to shape world-class production and performance environments.

This course provides advanced information and training in the science of acoustics. Using existing and past projects as source material, world-renowned studio designer John Storyk takes students through the acoustical design process, including both acoustical and programmatic considerations. He draws on pictures, charts, graphs, and recorded examples taken from real-world projects, both completed and in process, to highlight the challenges encountered and solutions devised for creating program-satisfying and acoustically correct facilities. These encompass both world-class, multiroom studio facilities as well as smaller-budget projects and home studios.

Drawing on decades of international experience, WSDG Partner and Director of Business Development Sergio Molho will demonstrate how recording studio design principles can inform and elevate acoustic performance in a broad range of AV spaces. In a webinar organized by the Danish Sound Cluster – a thriving sound community that connects people and sparks new collaborations across the audio, acoustics and hearing industry, in close collaboration with research and educational institutions – WSDG Senior Partner and Co-CEO Dirk Noy will explore what it takes to deliver great sound in arenas that host everything from sport to concerts and large-scale live events, treating the space not just as a venue, but as an instrument.
